Practical software.
Clear answers.
Your computer holds work, memories, and information you depend on. Understanding its condition—and knowing what to do when something goes wrong—should be easier.
Ground Rule Systems was founded to build practical software that helps people make informed decisions about the technology they rely on. Our approach starts with clear explanations, careful engineering, and respect for the person using the product.
ROADIE
PC Health • Security • Recovery
ROADIE is being developed around three connected needs: understanding your computer’s health, strengthening its security, and preparing for recovery when trouble happens.
Our goal is to turn technical information into useful answers: what’s happening, why it matters, and what steps are worth considering.
ROADIE is currently in development. As it progresses, we’ll share what’s ready, what’s being tested, and what still needs work.
Our Ground Rules
- Make information useful.
Explain findings in plain language and give people context for their decisions.
- Respect the computer and its owner.
Favor careful diagnostics, clear choices, and safeguards.
- Support claims with evidence.
Test, measure, and acknowledge limitations.
- Treat privacy as a design responsibility.
Consider what information is needed, how it is handled, and how those choices are explained.
- Build for the long term.
Give reliability, maintainability, and recovery a place in the design from the beginning.
